cool MUSIC

the MUSIC was cool, not a huge fan of the lyrics though. Then again, I've never heard of Segata Sanshiro, so perhaps I would appreciate it more had I known.

I can't tell which is more epic, the song or LK412's comment...

The song. Because LK412's comment is grounded in misinformation.

If you wanna find out more about segata, youtube his name! There's a playlist of all his commercials, you'll see what the lyrics are about in motion there.

Cool

I was very suprised by the instruments. Good pace to the song. I'm deadly jealous of everyone who has the ability to either create a realistic instrument sound or make recordings. Your version really captures the listener right away!

Fade out is good choice for canon. Don't want the nice sounds to end, so they don't, they just fade out.

Ozzy93 responds:

i worked a lot with the sound of the instruments.

thank you ;D

Hmm...

This would be cool to hear in real life. Are you sure Tetris is nintendo made?, because I believe the music is Russian. No marks removed for that though. I'll give you an 8 because you went through the work to write it all out. Not a perfect 10 because it's not original or instrumentised.

darphfluffy responds:

perfectly reasonable opinion. Glad you enjoyed it (I think)

Not bad.

it's no different from the original, just different instruments.
But pretty good as a soft version, which is what the original was...
Considering how easy it is to change cannon around and keep the good sound, you could have done better...

but good job anyways...

P.S. I'm pretty sure that it's spelled Cannon. Not canon as in BOOM-DEATH canon. But that's just what my music book said...

c-choirboy responds:

Kanon, Cannon or Canon.... i don't know what the real spelling is, but Canon works fine for almost everyone I think.
Well about your critic about not changing the song to much:
My plan was to keep the original because I thought that it would fit in just perfect for a rance song. So I can understand that some people want more change in the song, but I can only say that you have to find an outher version in that case, but thanks for listening to this version and your comment.
I appreciate all comments!

Ahem...

Although I feel slightly offended by this song, I must tell you that my dads whole career revolves around dishwashers...

I'm abit confussed about how you say washing machine and dishwasher...

but still, I actually laughed at this...

Er...thanks for not voting 0!

cool,

Id give it a 9.5 if there was one...
I have no trouble creating a video in my head going to this...

XenoxX responds:

lol Well Thanks for the review:)!!!!!!!!!!!!

it is amazing!

I'm sendin this to my good friend in the north, a now professional entertainer. something i would suggest though. When the violin cuts out and the strings come in, I would ditch the strings all together and fill it with multiple recordings of the string part on the violin overlapped. See how it sounds, if its no good, keep the strings.

P.S. The soundtrack makes me want to watch the movie! Tell me when it comes out out!

kelwynshade responds:

Will do. As this is a rough draft, lots will happen to this before it's finished. Thanks.

sweet... (^~^ )

Nice Tune, could use a different chord in the 4th bar... maybe not a minor?

the commentary really makes the song the best part!

Yodamanjaro responds:

hmm...I'll think about that.

the commentary??? lol. it's something to do.

its pretty good...

Geoplex responds:

The original title was referring to a race against time, but I suppose it can be interpreted many different ways.
Thanks for the review.

wow

you're really good at getting the certain sounds that you only hear from professional composers for movies. I liked paid in blood better though. No particular reason, just more my style I suppose.

Sentinel94 responds:

Yep, definitely two different styles. I actually was just kind of in a western mood when I made this. And the sounds...thanks to GB for that.
